I don’t know about you, but I’ve not experienced a global pandemic in my lifetime. Initially, I felt levels of anxiety far beyond anything I’ve ever felt before. Everything about life felt like it was changing. Rapidly. And without my consent.
But shortly thereafter, I shifted into thinking about what I can do to put myself back in the driver’s seat of my life.
How To Take Care Of Your Health & Fitness During The Pandemic
When I thought about what I would want to make it through this time, two things came to mind:
1. an anchor to community, since being at home for the foreseeable future means countless interactions every day – with the barista at the coffee shop, with friends at the gym – are now gone. And connection to others is a vital part of being a human.
2. something to keep myself doing the simple things we can do each day to help our health and well-being…getting to share those with you means not only will I do them, but maybe you’ll be inspired to them as well.
And the idea for my daily connection email series during the global pandemic of coronavirus popped into my head…
This email series (it’s free) goes out to subscribers every day and includes one thing I’m doing that day to maintain my health, my well-being, and my physical fitness. Readers are seeing in real-time how I’m navigating life during the pandemic, and how I’m creatively navigating health habits when nearly everything about how we live life is now different.
I’ve also decided to post the previous week’s daily connection emails as a blog post. This one will be the first. My intention is that this can be a central location for you to revisit previous tips and messages, while also serving as a useful place to direct any friends or family who might value reading them, too.
Below you will find links to each email in the first week of sending. And if you’d like to get the emails daily in your inbox, click here.
